Fantasy Baseball- Week 25
Yakking Muggers had a spectacular week, moving 490 points up the standings, from a strong second place to first place. Rather than the usual handful, ten players had 50+ points for the week. James Shields at 125 points and Yu Darvish at 117 points rank as the top weekly point totals of the year. The previous best was James Shields, 105 points, week 5. Jay Bruce at 95 points was the best hitter week of the year, just exceeding Jay Bruce, week 6, 91 pts, Aaron Hill, week 14, 90 pts and Hanley Ramirez, week 11, 89 pts. Saturday was a particularly big day with 140+ points each for hitting and for pitching. Both of the first place teams benefitted from B.J. Upton's three HR Sunday. Adho Muhka also had a spectacular Saturday with five pitcher wins.
