The Wii Bike Path
For my birthday, Monica got me a Wii. Since then, I have been biking the big island on Wii Fit Plus, as this activity takes the longest time of any of the activities and does not require full concentration. I proceed past the first couple of levels, then got to the expert level. The first few times at expert level, I did not get to all of the flags, as the game tells me 60 minutes of biking is long enough. More recently, it takes 30-35 minutes for me to find all 20 flags. My record for shortest distance traveled is 7.8 miles. As there seems not to be any cheats posted on the internet, here is my route these days. I am not saying this is the shortest route, but it the the shortest I have found. I am now generally labeled as a "professional".
The Wii Fit Plus Bike Expert Route:
Flag 1: Proceed straight ahead.
Flag 2: Go to the waterfall. It requires a slight left. You go under a pi shaped rock formation to get there.
Flag 3: Go through the tunnel. Exit using the left tunnel.
Flag 4: Bike up the mountain path
Flag 5: Bike past the castle then turn left on a bridge which takes you behind the castle. Continue around the mountain path to the flag in the green area. Getting back to the Flag 2 area is actually the hardest part of the game. You need to wind around to the area in front of the castle and continue to the right and backtrack through the tunnel. It is challenging to go back through the tunnel without biking off the path into the water. Take it slow through the tunnel.
Flag 6: Turn right upon exiting the tunnel to a second tunnel. There is a flag in the tunnel.
Flag 7: Continue through the tunnel. Take a right onto the ramp upon exiting the tunnel. Continue in the grass until you find the flag. Then, backtrack through the tunnel.
Flag 8: Go back through the pi shaped rock formation and to the lower path. Take a right to the windmill area, where there is a flag.
Flag 9: Continue across the blacktop path to the lighthouse. There is a flag on the other side of the lighthouse.
Flags 10-13: Take a left turn onto the blacktop and proceed around the island on the blacktop in a clockwise manner. The flags are on the path, except for one flag which requires a left turn up a rocky area toward a castle. (Once you get the flag, then backtrack and continue clockwise along the blacktop.) Keep going until you are through the tunnel with the beach on the left and a mountain on the right.
Flag 14: Proceed right, up the hill toward the mountain. A flag is in the grass.
Flag 15: Continue through a tunnel to the sandy area where the flag is. Then backtrack and go left, which is down.
Flags 16, 17, 18: These flags are on the beach. The first one is straight down the hill from the path. The second is under a rock formation. The third is behind a mountain. Then backtrack through the sand toward the big bridge along the blacktop path (continue clockwise).
Flag 19: This flag is in the middle of the big bridge. Continue straight ahead.
Flag 20: This flag is in the middle of town. Then take a right to the ramp which gets you to the finish line.
This should get you all of the flags in 30-40 minutes.
Update, 7/30/2010:

Fastest Time: 28 minutes
