Minnesota: Two Senators that Don't Get It

Minnesota's new democratic senator voted to attack MoveOn.org for a political ad entitled "General Betray Us?" She also seems to be in favor of our government spying on us. (She is in favor of mandating that cell phone contract termination fees are prorated, so Klobuchar gets one 'A' on her report card, though she only deserves credit when pro-consumer cell phone regulations go into law.) So far, she gets F's. Democrats who say they do not have the power to end the war because of republicans are lying.

This week, Iranian President Ahmadinejad is treating the United Nations with the same respect previously afforded to it by George W. Bush and senior Minnesota senator, republican, Norm Coleman. Coincidence?

The disconnect between America's feelings about the Iraq War and public policy indicates both major parties have betrayed us.
