Bitter Christians
The Reverend Jeremiah Wright scandal, though a silly media contrivance, probably helps Obama in the long-run. Anyone following the scandal understands that Wright (and Obama) belong to the Trinity United Church of Christ. Nonetheless, 10% believe Obama belongs to the Most Scary Church of Allah.
That Obama knows bitter people (Christian or otherwise) probably helps Obama as well. What could be more silly than an opposing candidate suggesting they do not exist, other than perhaps media outlets who believe candidates should debate whether bitter people exist.
Oh, and Obama won the Democratic nomination months ago. But, just in case defeat is snatched from victory, I am pretty sure that after not getting the job that he and all his friends believe he deserves, there will be one more bitter Christian.
