Fantasy Baseball-- Week 11
It is nice being home and having time to thoroughly consider moves in each of my leagues. There were moves, as documented in the mid-week update. And, there were further moves. But, in this last two hours before lineups are set for the week in CBS, I feel played out. There are no more flowers to rearrange.

Darfish/CBS money | 4 | 74 | 10.5 | 2 | 80.5 | 4 |

Adho Mukha/Yahoo | 2 | 87.5 | 1 | 2 | 83 | 4 |
Adho Muhka is a second place team. Oddly, the first place is ready to concede with Matt Kemp and maybe Felix Hernandez injured. I hope he keeps playing. A lot can change. We are not half done. A lot can change in even one final week.
Moore Ons is in a league where everyone (no, not me) is in concession mode. How can I tell? There was no rush to pick up Dexter Fowler, top performer of the week. Clutch, the first place team snaps up new closers before the announcements are made, or so it seems. And, how to you compete with Josh Hamilton this year? But, again. We are not half done. Josh Hamilton goes much earlier in drafts except that people figure him to be injured 20% of the time.
The Darfish have been remarkable considering that Ike Davis was not dropped until now. Yes, I knew he had Valley Fever. But, I thought the Mets wanted to win and wouldn't play him if he were hampered in the full Conor Jackson sense. I guess he brought some fans to watch them lose. I think Ike needs a month or two off. Also, remarkable is that Darfish lead in wins. I consider wins to be luck. So, Darfish are lucky. Matt Kemp has not been lucky. Darfish lost a line up position because Matt Kemp reinjured himself early in his first game back. John Mayberry, Jr. and Todd Frazier have been more lineup positions lost. Now that they are dropped, now maybe they play each day. Have I made the point yet that Darfish are over-achieving, considering their management? Shots in the dark for this week-- Steve Lombardozzi, Jr., Colby Rasmus (playing time more secure with E5 injury?), Brandon Belt (because, now he is supposed to finally show us what he has and play every day, really, really). This team needs Wil Myers- 19HRs in the minors- to get promoted. That would begin to reduce the 1B/OF deck chair shuffling.
But, yes, Darfish have good starting pitching. Yu Darvish, whom I believe to be Cy Young caliber, was benched for his match up non-win, and Daniel Hudson, who started because of a match up, won his game, and had it count! Most teams regret benching their top starter most all of the time. Closers are perilous. Is Santiago Casilla injured? Will Ryan Cook get save opportunities over Brian (used to be a legitimate closer) Fuentes? Is Huston Street beyond his injury and does he oust Dale Thayer on Tuesday? David Robertson, in injury recovery mode, was added making Thayer, assuming he no longer closes, droppable. (Last hour flower arranging-- drop Thayer for Venters as Street is off the DL.) One might suggest that saves are luck, but I suggest that figuring out who the next closer is a skill that I wish I had.

The Ottoneu team is much better on paper with Shin-Soo Choo. Chase Headley has done great away from Petco and I have not started him at home. Beckman got some starts and showed power; Aaron Hill was in a pitcher's park. And, Matt Moore gave up homeruns, so really did not help in Ottoneu, but it is nice to see him get the two-start win, as he is on three of my teams.
